Hotel, bar and restaurant seating in the city centre
Hotel lounges, brasseries and bars between the Northern Quarter and Spinningfields share one problem: seating that takes a full service every day, looks tired long before the frames fail, and cannot disappear for a month while it is redone. That is the work we are set up for in Manchester.

For a venue we quote itemised, so you can see what each seat style costs and decide how much to do now. Work is phased around your trading hours, a batch at a time, and larger sites get a visit before the final figure. Commercial jobs use Crib 5 fabric and combustion-modified foam as standard. Offices, reception areas and fitted seating in M1
Most of the work we have completed for M1 customers has been for businesses rather than homes. Reception sofas, meeting-room chairs, booth seating and staff areas all wear the same way as a bar’s does, just more slowly. Fitted pieces such as booths, long bench runs and upholstered wall panels are measured on site, because they are built to the room rather than bought to fit it. Interior designers and fit-out teams working on city-centre schemes can send a specification and fabric reference, and we will price against it or suggest an equivalent from the mills we buy from.
Sofas and cushions in city-centre flats
Apartments in Ancoats, Castlefield and the Northern Quarter bring a different job. The sofa is usually good and often expensive; what has gone is the seat foam, flattened by daily use, or a cover that has faded in a south-facing window. Before anything is moved, a few photos tell us which it is.
When only the cushions need attention, replacement sofa cushions are the sensible fix: new foam cut to the old shape, with new covers if you want them. When the whole sofa needs recovering, it has to get out of the flat and back in again, so we ask about lifts, stairwells and where a van can stop before we book anything. Collection is around £75 + VAT both ways, and a free, written quote from photos usually comes back the same working day.
Levenshulme, Fallowfield, Hulme and Whalley Range
This page also covers M14, M15, M16 and M19, where the housing is older and the furniture question is often about keeping something rather than refreshing it. A Victorian terrace in Levenshulme or a large house in Whalley Range is more likely to hold a suite with a hardwood frame that is worth recovering, and a frame check tells you before you spend anything. Restaurant upholstery in Manchester
For a restaurant, the questions are how long the room is out of use and what the covers will survive. Booths, banquettes and dining chairs can be done in sections, a single banquette can be turned round overnight, and the site visit is free. Covers are chosen for wipe-down and wear, and the pack at handover includes Crib 5 fire certificates and care instructions so staff know how to clean them.
