A few of our Mossley jobs are recliners, and the question is usually whether the chair can be recovered without losing the mechanism. Often it can. On a riser-recliner we recovered, the mechanism was kept, cleaned and serviced, and the chair went back in a floral fabric with plain footrest panels. If the chair is still comfortable for the person who uses it, keeping it is often kinder than getting used to a new one. A riser base is heavy, so if yours is upstairs or behind a narrow door, include it in the photos of your access.

Smaller pieces are simpler. Seat cushions, a footstool or a dining chair can be dropped at our Grosvenor Street workshop, seven minutes down the valley, and dropping off costs nothing. While you are there you can see fabric in the showroom rather than on a screen.

Not every Mossley job is a sofa. Seat cushions, foam and dining chairs make up much of the rest of our OL5 work, and those are the jobs that need no van at all. Mossley is seven minutes up the valley, which makes a venue visit easy, and the visit is free. A pub, cafe or restaurant can send photos and a seat count for a first figure, then we look at the room. Booths and bench runs sit on pub seating and banquettes, and dining chairs, banquettes and booths on restaurant and cafe seating.
