It falls naturally on the same collection run as Droylsden and Denton. The housing stock here means plenty of older frames, and older frames are usually good news. A sofa built with a hardwood frame and tied springs is worth recovering; a modern one built on staples and chipboard often is not. We will tell you which one you have got before you spend anything, and we would rather turn work away than take money for a piece that will not last. Foam is a common one locally too – seat cushions that have collapsed but where the cover is still perfectly good. That is a cheap fix compared with a full recover, and we cut foam to size in the workshop.
