Education
Education upholstery work.
School, college and training-environment examples, including contract seating, simulator seating and embroidered antimacassars.
About this work.
Most of the photos here come from work for Tameside College. We recovered original Boeing 747 seats for the college's cabin crew training room, in contract-grade fabric with the original stitching pattern replicated so they take daily training use. We then made custom embroidered antimacassars for the same seats. The set shows the room on site before the recover and the finished cabin after.
The education sector page covers the wider work: auditorium, lecture-theatre, classroom and bleacher seats in Crib 5 and Crib 7 contract fabrics, scheduled in holiday windows so rooms are back in use for term. For a first price, send a seat count and a photo of each type of seat.
