Productions tend to ask for things an upholsterer does not see every week: a period piece that has to look right on camera, a hero chair and its continuity double, or seating that is not household furniture at all. This small set gathers our out-of-the-ordinary jobs, including the Boeing 747 seats recovered for Tameside College and a motorbike seat.

The police uniform wingback, covered in a customer's late father's Greater Manchester Police uniforms and featured by the Guild of Master Craftsmen, is the clearest example of a one-off made to a personal brief.
