The Black Bull pub refit
Full banquette, booth and bar-stool recovery for a Stalybridge pub -- Crib 5 wool, combustion-modified foam, scheduled around trading hours.

The Black Bull’s banquette seating had taken the kind of beating that fifteen years of regular trade gives you. The owners wanted to reupholster the lot – banquettes, booths, bar stools – without closing for more than an evening at a time. This is core hospitality and pub seating and banquettes work.
We surveyed the room across an afternoon, costed a phased recover that took the booths first (least disruptive – closed for one evening), banquettes next (closed Monday, open Tuesday), bar stools last (rotated through the workshop a row at a time over a week, never more than a quarter of the seating off the floor at once).
Fabric was a Sunbury contract wool in deep navy, Crib 5 certified, with combustion-modified foam under. Brass-headed nail trim along the banquette fronts to match the original bar fittings. Two-year craftsmanship guarantee on the lot. More of the same approach sits on our commercial upholstery hub, the Preston pub seating project, and wipe-clean staff-room work like the Tesco staff room booths.
The pub didn’t lose a single trading day above the scheduled closures. Two years on the seating still looks as it did the day we delivered it. Planning a similar refit? Start with a commercial quote or browse more finished jobs on projects.
