Tesco staff room booths
Face-to-face staff room booths recovered in lime and green wipe-clean vinyl for a Tesco site -- channelled backs, wipe-down seats, installed around an existing pedestal table.

Staff-room and canteen seating for large retailers is a different brief from a soft pub lounge. Seating has to look bright in photographs, wipe clean after every turn of covers, and take the kind of use that would destroy a domestic fabric in months. This commission was for a Tesco staff room in the North West – the same hygiene and durability bar as office and contract and hospitality wipe-clean work.
This pair of face-to-face booths is the pattern we quote most often for that environment: fixed benches either side of a pedestal table, channelled back panels for structure, and a two-tone wipe-clean vinyl so the room still has a bit of colour without showing every mark. Lime on the backs, deeper green on the seats – deliberate, so scuffs on the sitting surface read less than they would on a single pale colour. See also our wider pub seating and banquettes work for fixed commercial benches.
The carcasses and table stayed. We measured on site, cut and upholstered the panels and cushions in the workshop, and refitted so the join lines sat clean against the timber wall cladding and the metal table base. No drama, no multi-week closure – the room was back on the floor plan the same day. That is the same “trade through the works” approach we use on commercial upholstery for pubs, cafes and staff facilities.
Contract vinyl chairs sit alongside this work when a venue wants loose seats as well as fixed booths. Bright solid colours, boxy shapes, fully wipeable – the same commercial hygiene standard as the booths, just movable.
Staff rooms, canteens and cafe-style food service rooms all take the same punishment. Related fixed-seating work includes the Black Bull pub refit and the trade kitchen banquette. Send photos and seat counts via a commercial quote and we will come back with an itemised price and an install window that works around your busiest services. More finished jobs sit on our projects page.
